Dark side of Reality

We are a million different people from one day to the next. We desire a zillion different things every day. I was reading this book today. It said – It is OK to want; It is OK to desire because God never says NO – never denies.

But what I perceived, since forever, is that the more you want the farther the desired will move away from you. God will never let you have anything which is not for your betterment – or which is not “meant for you”. So is it really true that when your heart seriously desires something with all its might, against all odds, the entire universe conspires in helping to achieve it? Are your feelings really answered? I don’t think so. Life cannot be that easy. There are lots of laws and constraints ruling our lives. Some of them external but most of them has only one creator, you. But despite your passion, desire and want, you still cannot achieve what you wanted – not always.

This holds true from very little things to life changing assessments. Like wanting the shower to halt when you do not have an umbrella or hoping you will someday land up in your dream job or falling in love with someone who is just so impossible...

There are two ways in life.

First, u believe in God and put in ur best, leave to Him the rest. Whatever happens, u believe it happens for the best and march ahead.

Second, u do what u want and expect to get what u want. When u dont get it, u lose heart and get depressed.

Choose ur way. At the end, u always get what u need, may not be what u want....

Life is good, but not easy......

Just to add something, We are all ghostwriters of our own lives. The ending has nothing to do with you.
Its all done and over with, its not how you deal with a situation, its how you deal with yourself when the situation changes you

Loved it...Cheers

Thoda aur Wish karo !

Paulo Coelho says in The Alchemist :"If you really desire something, the entire universe conspires to see you achieve it" and the same has been repeated in many other books by many people , I had written about "Law of attractions" In this blog some times back.

Even while I was going throuh RamcharitManas by Tulsi Das , I came across this particular Doha , "Jeki jehi par Satya sanehu , So tehi milahi na kachhu sandehu " it echos the same message , what you desire from heart will be yours but the question is whether all of it is true , the obvious answer which will come straight form our heart is No this is not true , after all it does not happen this way . You don't get everything you want in life...

My counter question is how many times we are clear what exactly we want from Life ,there are only few people who have clarity about thier goals and approach which they want to take to get that goal. One has to be Arjun when it comes to target setting , he must see only the goal and nothing else . The movement he becomes aware of his goal , he is able to chase it with full force. If you are clear with your aim in the life that means you can even explain and convince others about it and when they are able to visualise the same thing which you do , you will be helped from all directions , your goal will become a part of your existance and fullfilment will certainly be around !!

True...Lyfe is never easy...u dont get what u desire and end up with something else often...
Still we are more privilaged than million others...
So let us leave our destiny to God and enjoy the lyfe blessed by him...

"But despite your passion, desire and want, you still cannot achieve what you wanted – not always."
You have undermined the two words
Passion and Desire. These two work hand in hand when u really desire and have a passion to follow it till the END, you will get it.
They are much more then just a desire to just stop the shower, etc (u should be passionate enough to reach the destination without getting wet thats it.)

I guess these are the two quotes that relate to your post ...

Hi laks,

Interesting start, nicely written :)

Though its not very comforting to know that you may not always get what you wanted... I hope it never keeps any of us from wanting.. you never know what you will get and what you won't.

Wanting something with all your heart is like praying for something to happen. There is a high probability that someone is praying for the opposite with all his/her heart. One of them has be satisfied with a NO. But they can be hopeful that next time it will be a YES.

So keep hoping, keep dreaming and yeah, keep blogging :)
